- All contestants are required to pre-register. The deadline to mail registrations is June 4, 2010. There will be no registration the day of the tournament.
- This tournament is open to adults and children.
- Tournament starts at 6:00 am and ends at 11:00 am. Weight in and take off will be at the Consumer Power boat ramp next to the dam.
- Fishing is limited to Croton Pond.
- Legal fish will include Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass.
- Adult division is anyone 16 years old or older. Youth division is anyone under the age of 16.
- Winners will be determined by tournament staff, their decision is final.
- Trophies given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for adult and youth divisions. There will also be a big fish award that includes a cash prize.
- This will be a paper tournament, except for the big fish award. Fish must be measured by someone other than the angler who caught it.
- Each contestant will be allowed to bring in live fish to be weighed for the big fish award. You can bring fish into the dock at any time during the tournament.
- All contestants must follow the boating and fishing regulations of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
- Cheating will NOT be tolerated!
- Violation of any of the rules and regulations may result in disqualification from the tournament.
- The Croton Bass Challenge and its staff are not responsible or liable for any damages, losses or injuries incurred by anyone in connection with this tournament. Contestants are required to sign a waiver.
